THE 'C' WORD (PART -2)

In the previous segment of this article, we went through 2 major reasons that prevent people from choosing their ideal career. Based on the response to that article I would like to continue this segment by discussing with u some more of these never-ending reasons making u aware of solution alongside an example of people and their stories ( both of success and failure) according to the context of the point we make.

ALSO, AFTER HAVING RECEIVED SOME CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM ABOUT MAKING THE BLOG A SHORT. I HAVE DECIDED TO MAKE IT AS SHORT AND TO THE POINT.

  • SO reason the third: Not planning ahead (about different stages of your career development) -

Imagine that you have selected a college course or are learning a skill for what you believe is your ideal career choice.many of you even by only imagining this would be content, a majority of you would be imagining about what your life will look like; but what if I tell you this itself isn't enough. Even for what people might think is an easy go lucky career not having planned small details might bite them-

allow me to put this into perspective: imagine that you want to be a singer and after having received formal training in this art alongside some instrumental training you decide that to reach a bigger audience you would start a youtube channel with whatever set up you have :

so now you start a channel 'y' since you didn't plan ahead now you are faced with a dilemma of what kind music channel will it be whether you would sing original composition or a cover. After some thought, you decide that you would do both since your voice will become accustomed to it.

so, now you create your first original after months of perfecting the lyrics, matching it with the Instrumental note, creating a tune, a beat, finding the perfect genre, etc .you know people will love it, you release the song and after only 10min you get thousands of views, likes, comments, this goes on for some time after which suddenly your video is taken down, turns out a label has put a copyright infraction claim on you. But, it is your song you claim no one listens to you because all the document point towards you being the cheat and you can't even think about fighting the case in court. Because of this people turn against you, other companies start suing you because you have created covers without their knowledge or permission, now people are against you, you have been blacklisted from the industry, you cannot stage a comeback.

all of this could have been avoided if only you would have taken time to learn about the rules, copyright, free use, etc.and planned ahead of time how you would expand and defend yourself in this fierce world

One excellent example of a such a case is that of Mc Donalds( our fav burger joint, where we can eat alongside the iconic clown), to be more specific their original creators or owners. I don't want to bore you with the details all of you have the internet and can search these things out yourself but basically, the story goes that the original owners created an efficient fast food cooking and delivery system but also showed this method which could otherwise be patented for a mere sum of money and these methods were seen and implemented by some of its best competitors since they didn't want to expand further and go international they sold their brand for about 20 million now we see how successful Mc d is a multi-billion dollar turn over brand. The original owners could have had all of this if only they had planned ahead.

  • SAYING YOU AREN'T CAPABLE ENOUGH( AND NOT FACING DIFFICULTY)

This reason. If you think you aren't smart enough remember this, not every CEO has an IQ equivalent to Einstein, not every artist has to be a Picasso and whenever u think it is difficult for u to remember, everyone would have done what you want to do if it was easy. I ask you to read about the Ceo of virgin group RICHARD BRANSON. There are so many ppl who according to a psychologist shouldn't have been able to do what they did. People who contemplate suicide just because you haven't cleared an entrance exam remember Einstien didn't too.( p.s. don't use such analogies to state your failure as success accept u failed otherwise u cannot proceed in life).

  • FOLLOWING UR PASSION:

I know what I typed and also the context to which I have typed it.No one in this world HAS THE RIGHT initially follow ur passion if u cant make ur ends meet or earn a living using ur passion, and use your passion as a muse to first earn a living and then follow ur passion. No one will even think about making a youtube video if they have no resources or a source of living.

SEE, NO ONE CAN START ANY VENTURE WITHOUT HAVING ANY RESOURCES FOR IT, THE ONLY TIME IT IS ACCEPTABLE THAT U DON'T HAVE A LIVING AND STILL ONLY FOLLOW UR PASSION IS WHEN THAT IS ALL U HAVE AND THAT IS THE ONLY THING DRIVING YOU.

FROM ACTORS LIKE RAJNIKANTH, MATT LABLANC TO PERSONALITIES LIKE ROWAN ALL ONLY FOLLOWED PASSION BUT FIRST SORT OUT A SAFETY NET FOR THEIR LIVING. U URSELF CAN NAME ACTORS AND OTHER PERSONALITIES WHO DID OTHER THINGS BEFORE THEIR EFFORTS PAID off. EVEN UR BASIC JOE'S WOULDN'T FOLLOW THEIR PASSION IF INITIALLY, IT won't MAKE THEM A LIVING. A GOOD EXAMPLE IS A GOALKEEPER IN LA LIGA (SPANISH FOOTBALL LEAGUE ) WHO DOESN'T LIKE FOOTBALL BUT PLAYS IT TO EARN A LIVING......LET ME SEE IF U GUYS CAN FIND OUT WHO.

as I conclude this part of the segment I would like to apologize if I left any stone unturned, some of u didn't entertain the fact that I use celebs and other reputed personalities as examples but realize this I did so only because these ppl have found their ideal careers for themselves. write to me in the comments or through any other medium if u would like to change any aspect of this blog, or want to suggest an alternate series topic. And please do read about the personalities suggested to expand ur knowledge and draw inspiration.TO CONTACT US USE THE FOLLOWING:
