My one regret from school.

Image
Story narrated by: Anonymus writer. Let’s start with a little back story. I would like to believe that I was quite a popular kid in school. I had quite a lot of friends in school and I was a person who wanted to be around people so basically I had FOMO. I was really close to 2 people. One of whom I met for the very first time in grade 1 and the other one in grade 3. Let’s call the first one Mia and the other one Stella. I was very close to Stella from grade 3 to I guess grade 5. Then we fought and in a way started ignoring each other. So after grade 5, I started spending almost all the time with Mia. Mia was the popular kid. And I guess I liked the attention. Anyways we began to grow closer and closer to a point where we used to do all things together. So here’s the deal after grade 7 our classes were reshuffled.  And I didn’t I really didn't know anyone in my class and of course, Stella was there in that class. Slowly we bonded over time and our differences were settled.

Yes it's about the Teen AGE

--OH Hey teens ,welcome to the weirdest stage of your life cause all weird things tend to happen and weird things are done during the Teen AGE . The teenage years is usually associated with adolescence which is transitional stage or a stage where there are great changes/development of PHYSICAL and PSYCHOLOGICAL state on a person between 10 to 19 years of ages (i guess ). Teenage is an amazing age to discover new things ,learn new things (especially the bad ones), age of confusion, age of love, age of hatefulness , age of many new friendship, age of loneliness, age of happiness ,age of depression, age of anxiety issues ,age of aggressiveness ,age of having crushes at a time (yes that's plural) and many more things       oh ya forgot about the age of most first kisses 😂(most of them have done or are wanting to do it but don't include me in this ,i'm another type of weirdo, the instances of me kissing someone is during the funerals, so i guess you understood who

THE 'C' WORD (PART -2)

In the previous segment of this article, we went through 2 major reasons that prevent people from choosing their ideal career. Based on the response to that article I would like to continue this segment by discussing with u some more of these never-ending reasons making u aware of solution alongside an example of people and their stories ( both of success and failure) according to the context of the point we make. ALSO, AFTER HAVING RECEIVED SOME CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM ABOUT MAKING THE BLOG A SHORT. I HAVE DECIDED TO MAKE IT AS SHORT AND TO THE POINT. SO reason the third: Not planning ahead (about different stages of your career development) -    Imagine that you have selected a college course or are learning a skill for what you believe is your ideal career choice.many of you even by only imagining this would be content, a majority of you would be imagining about what your life will look like; but what if I tell you this itself isn't enough. Even for what people might think is

Career dilema:THE 'C' WORD (PART -1)

One of the most common question most of us are asked across childhood by our elders is "what do u want to be when u become older?" at that time it is quiet easy for us to reply that we would either have  a career   as scientist, policeman(my standard reply for 1st grade),Superman (if ur a marvel fan Spiderman),Barbie(that was one time people, one time)along side a wide array of both real and pretend careers. But as we get older , we are presented with almost a new life, our knowledge begins to shape our aspirations( I personally stopped dreaming about a career as santa clause because I didn't want to live in the North pole) basically for most of us our career choices change, they tend to be much more realistic as we get older, the whole career spectrum changes based on the knowledge we take in.Obviously at some point of time we finally are able to decide what we want to do with our life's.Some get acquainted with this knowledge early on in their life and others they t

BODYSHAMING: A JOKE FOR U,A CURSE FOR US

Image
Did you ever stop and think about how often we are told to change our appearance?  Magazines constantly offer tips about how to lose weight “in days,” appear slimmer “instantly,” and hide our “imperfections”… without actually knowing anything about us, much less our appearance.  This is one example of body-shaming, and it is everywhere.  Sitcoms so frequently use overweight characters’ bodies as the basis of many of the show’s jokes.  It has become the norm to criticize aspects of our bodies as some type of bonding experience with friends – if we all hate our bodies; it somehow makes us feel connected and united.  Body-shaming (criticizing yourself or others because of some aspect of physical appearance) can lead to a vicious cycle of judgment and criticism.  Messages from the media and from each other often imply that we  should  want to change, that we  should  care about looking slimmer, smaller, and tanner.  And if we don’t, we worry that we are at risk of being the target of

One antibodyshaming voice !

All that glitters is not gold,  Many a times have we heard that told...! But do you realize it's the gold that's forever chosen? It's price and shine being the only reason...! ' . How many times have we bullied a person for their colour , for their deformities, for the things, they cry about just because you find it ugly...! . That girl you called 'dark' is right now scared to look at her own self...that boy you called 'fat' has skipped meals  today...and that kid you called 'useless' is probably waiting to slit down his own wrist...! . Stop body shaming not because they're feeling bad about them being a laughing stock...stop body shaming because one day karma is gonna hunt you down and break you up, piece by piece...And that's for sure...! . I have faced #bodyshaming , and if you have too, blog out your story with us! #oneboldstepatatime  #antibodyshaming  #mystory TO CONTACT US USE THE FOLLOWING:       EMAIL US: teen.opinion

I am afraid

Image
I am afraid I am afraid of the judging looks you give, The way you stare, tears my soul. I am afraid of the life I have to live, With the fear of the way you control. It breaks me apart When you shatter someone a fourth of my age. It pierces my heart When I see whom you’ve caged. And no I am not talking about my acquaintance Nor am I talking about my foe, But I am talking about the cause of my anxiety I am talking about you society. But I am strong I am mighty before your coward practices, I am whom I’m meant to be.                                                                    Description: The society always tends to break us no matter what. When we want to lead a different life we are often rebuked by elders by the saying "What will the society think?" This society of ours leaves not the little once nor teens like you and me. They say that the victims are rather blamed than the oppressors. At that time of sorrow and sh

A joke for us but a crime for the rest of the world.

Cyber bullying part-1:Being the bully Overview Cyber bullying or cyber harassment is a form of bullying or harassment using electronic means also known as online bullying. The statistics show that approximately 34% of students report experiencing cyber bullying during their lifetime. Over 60% of students who experience cyber bullying reported that it immensely impacted them and feel safe while at school. 59% of U.S. teens have been bullied or harassed online and over 90% believe it's a major problem in their age. This is the story of our little joke😈😂😘😎😇 Teens who are bullied are 2 times more likely to attempt suicide. We have always heard that cyber bullying is bad but in our own ways have done it probably intentionally or unintentionally. This story dates back to when I was in middle school. Naive as we were at that time, a bunch of my friends decided to text one of my friends pretending to be a boy. Let’s call this guy Jake. So Jake was a very popular boy fr

why you should profess ur feelings to ur crush? part -1 (my crush- the beginning)

Image
Having had no response to my call to be ur voice or an issue anyone asked me to blog about , I decided to choose a topic that would intrigue many of my fellow teens.I would be lying if i told you that this wasn't based on events on my personal life.....obviously by just reading the title you would have guessed what i want to talk to you about in one word "FIRST CRUSH". The very same person by the mention of whose name our hearts would melt ,butterflies would fly in our stomach,a red blush would appear on our faces, and so one. They could have many names might be 'y' for me ,might be 'x' for u but the emotions or reactions would be the same.Even biologically specking it is estimated that it takes a estimated 86sec of eye contact for 'love in first site' which is basically the time for the secretion for pleasure hormone secretion....to much science to explain . But the real concern is what next, many teens resort to stalking which all of us do
